APPRENTICE TECHNICIAN VACANCY AT NORWICH H-D®

Passionate about Harley-Davidson? We are too! Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit an Apprentice Technician at Norwich Harley-Davidson. You will have a great attitude and be keen to learn all aspects of the service side of the business and take full advantage of Harley-Davidson’s internationally recognised Technician training programme. 

We will invest time and energy into your training, we have one of a very few fully trained Master Technicians at our Norwich site, so your training will be second to none.

You will interact with our Customers, so, standard service is not enough, you will genuinely want to take ownership of their needs, wants and desires, and you’ll want to get fully involved with dealership events and rides, both on and off site. We live and breathe H-D, to us this is far more than just a place of work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Learn all aspects of the Service Department
  • Take part and ultimately pass the graduated H-D Technician training (Online & College)
  • Interact with Customers
  • Valet Motorcycles
  • Organise the Parts storage area
  • General cleaning duties
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Parts & Accessories
  • Ensure that daily budgets are met

  • Mechanically minded
  • Approachable and honest
  • Working knowledge of Motorcycles
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communicator
  • Efficient time manager

Essential:

  • First class can do attitude
  • Team player, happy to learn and get involved in other areas of the dealership
  • Computer literate
