The all new Porsche 911 Turbo sets the Benchmark Again

In 1974 Porsche unveiled the 911 Turbo at the Paris Motor Show which proved to be a global sensation as the model was admired for its unquestionable power and presence.

On 01 December 2015 Porsche announced the latest incarnation of the flagship model offering increased power, performance and standard specification for both the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S models. The world premiere will take place at the North American International Auto show, Detroit in January 2016.

All models have received a power increase of 20 hp. For the 911 Turbo S, this has resulted in a 0-62 mph time of 2.9 seconds whilst still returning a fuel consumption of 30.4 mpg on the NEDC combined cycle. The 911 Turbo acceleration and fuel consumption have also improved resulting in best-in-class performance for both models in both disciplines.

Model highlights include the Sport Chrono Package including mode switch which is now standard on all models. This system allows the driver to select one of four driving modes including the 'Individual' mode which can be personalised by the driver. Additionally, a Sport Response button will allow 20 seconds of maximum responsiveness should the driver wish to unleash the vehicle's full potential. The package also features dynamic engine mounts, offering the driver the best of both comfort and performance in regard to engine oscillations and vehicle mass management.

The new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including Connect Plus offers the driver multiple services to improve their driving experience. Features such as Apple Car Play®, Google Street View®, Google Earth®, real-time traffic information and online radio are just some of the exciting new services that connect the driver's vehicle to their everyday lifestyle.

LED headlights are also included within the standard specification of all 911 Turbo models. Immediately identifiable by the four-point LED daytime running lights which create a 'halo' effect around the headlight.
