We are delighted to announce that we, the Lind Group (Lind Group Holding Company Ltd) have confirmed the acquisition of Jack Lilley Triumph today.
Jack Lilley Ltd was established in 1959 and became one of the first Hinckley appointed Triumph dealerships in 1991. They were chosen for their experience and expertise in promoting European motorcycles, and in that 26 year relationship have played a major part in helping the Triumph brand establish itself in the UK. Initially operating from their Shepperton premises they soon outgrew themselves and moved to their current larger Ashford store. In 2013 they acquired an additional Triumph dealership in Romford.
The Triumph team and the Lilley family have worked closely together to identify a buyer for the business who can appreciate, and maintain, the values with which the family has run the business since its inception.
Dave Lilley, Managing Director of Jack Lilley Triumph, commented: “The Lind Group is renowned for delivering a first-class customer experience, possessing unrivalled sales and aftersales knowledge and putting customers at the heart of its business, all of which were key attractions for us. This acquisition not only ensures that this will continue, but it also puts us in a strong position for future success. We are very much looking forward to joining the Lind Family.”
On confirmation of the acquisition Russ Dacre, MBE said: “As a growing company we are extremely excited that the two Jack Lilley Triumph dealerships are joining our family of dealerships. We are looking forward to the opportunity of working with a hugely popular manufacturer and operating in two new market areas. Following the acquisition of Black Bear Harley-Davidson (now Newmarket Harley-Davidson) in 2013, the opening of Reading Harley-Davidson in 2015, and the acquisition of SBW Motorrad (Lind Motorrad Welwyn Garden City), the acquisition of Jack Lilley Triumph aligns with our strategy to grow with the key premium motorcycle brands in the UK.”
