On the Track: Triumph West London Takes the Field

The heart of Malle Mile has always been its beautifully chaotic, non-competitive racing spirit. Among the custom builds, vintage machinery and dirt-flinging specials, Triumph West London made its presence felt in style.

Idir Babaci suited up to take on the terrain, pushing his Triumph Scrambler to its limits across the sprint tracks and scrambles. Watching the Scrambler tear through the turf against the backdrop of Grimsthorpe Castle's historic architecture was nothing short of spectacular.

Meanwhile, Lucy-Mai was on hand representing the Triumph West London team, soaking up the atmosphere, supporting the crew in the pits and catching up with the thousands of riders who made the annual pilgrimage to Malle Mile.

"The Mile isn't about lap times or silverware, it's about throwing a leg over your bike, lining up next to your mates, and having pure, unadulterated fun."

The Art of Machine: Curation & Custom Craft

Beyond the roar of engines and flying mud, Malle Mile continues to celebrate the creativity and craftsmanship that define custom motorcycle culture. At the centre of that is the Art of Machine exhibition.

Charlie Stockwell of LIND x Stockwell Design joined an exceptional panel of industry figures, including David of Cafe Racers of Instagram, Calum of deBolex Engineering, Alec of Revival Cycles, Anthony Partridge of Partridge Design, and Malle London founders Robert and Johnny.

Together, the panel judged the weekend's custom awards, recognising a select group of builders and owners whose motorcycles stood out for their originality, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The overall winner took home a brand-new Royal Enfield Bear along with a £5,000 build budget. There was just one condition: they must transform the bike into something truly spectacular before returning to race and display it at Malle Mile 2027.

The exhibition itself showcased everything from hand-hammered aluminium fuel tanks and stripped-back café racers to radical electric customs, giving visitors an up-close look at some of the finest motorcycle builds in the country.

Framing the Chaos: Through the Lens of Sezudo Photography

Capturing the atmosphere of Malle Mile is no easy task, but Dani Sezudo of Sezudo Photography (@sezudo_photography) was right in the middle of the action throughout the weekend.

From the dust clouds rising across the sprint track in the morning sun to the candid moments in the paddock, Dani documented every side of the festival, including the raw emotion of riders waiting on the start line, the intricate details of the motorcycles displayed in the Art of Machine exhibition, and the late-night camaraderie that makes the Malle community unlike any other.

A Weekend to Remember

Whether you came for the racing, the live music, the Art of Machine exhibition or simply to camp out and immerse yourself in the atmosphere, Malle Mile 2026 delivered another unforgettable weekend.

As the dust settles, the engines cool and the bikes head home, one thing remains certain: the spirit of two-wheeled adventure is alive, loud and thriving at Grimsthorpe Castle, and we'll be counting down the days until next year.
