THE INSPIRATION
Jack Lilley Ashford (JL Customs) has built several different styles of Bobber customs over the years, such as their HighGloss, HotRod and Rusty. They wanted to do something daring and never done before, and the team is always looking for an excuse to get creative with new custom designs. What better design to show off their creativity than an East LA Mexican Lowrider inspired Bobber!
The Jack Lilley team went to Surrey Customs to produce the all-important tank body design for their low rider paintwork, resulting in their Gold 7 Red Candy with Gold Leaf design. JL Customs has added custom-made tank brackets, raising the front of the tank by an inch, as well as 120 spoke gold wheels by Canyon Wheels to target that true Mexican vibe for its Bobber.
