Foxhill, Sunday 28 September 2025: At the final round of the Bridgestone British Masters, the story practically wrote itself. Josh Spinks, riding for Triumph West London, clinched the Open Pro Championship aboard the new Triumph TF 450-RC — and closed the season with an emphatic overall victory at the legendary Foxhill circuit.
From a conversation to a championship: For Spinks, this season was about more than results. It began, as he puts it, “around a coffee table with my good friend and sponsor Mark Williams” — just an idea that turned into a year-long campaign filled with graft, refinement, and belief in something new.
The TF 450-RC, Triumph’s first modern motocross contender, proved itself immediately. Precise, balanced, and fast where it counted, it allowed Josh to focus on the flow, not the fight. Week after week, that combination of calm precision and relentless pace delivered results.
Foxhill as the perfect ending: Heading into the final round, the title was still mathematically alive. A handful of points separated Spinks from the top of the standings, but when rival Christopher Mills was ruled out through injury, the door opened. Josh only needed to finish one moto to secure the crown — but instead, he went for the win.
In Moto 1, he shadowed Carlton Husband and Neville Bradshaw through the opening laps before finding his rhythm and taking second, enough to lock in the title. In Moto 2, with the pressure gone, Spinks showed his full hand — overtaking Husband in the closing stages to take the race win and the overall victory.
Behind him, Husband and Bradshaw rounded out the podium, while Tyla Hooley’s late-season form earned him runner-up honours in the final standings.
The TF 450-RC delivers: For Triumph and our Triumph West London team, the result was more than silverware — it was impressive validation. The TF 450-RC’s first competitive season ended with a championship title, confirming its performance credentials on one of Britain’s toughest circuits. From its poise through Foxhill’s ruts to its control on the hardpack, the TF 450-RC proved every bit the modern race machine Triumph promised.
Josh Spinks on the season: “Finished it with a race win and overall victory here at Foxhill! Absolutely full of cold but dug deep and had the pace all day. I’m enjoying my riding more than ever — because of the people in my circle. They keep it fun and make it happen. I’m very grateful.”
Spinks, who balances his racing with JSMX Coaching and the Let's Torque Bikes podcast, sees these worlds feeding each other.
“I keep racing to keep learning — to teach from real experience. The more substance behind what I teach, the better. No shortcuts, no BS.”
A season to remember: At 33, Josh Spinks is riding with the freedom of someone who has nothing left to prove — and still finds new reasons to love the sport. For Triumph, it’s a return to form that couldn’t have been scripted better: a British rider, a British brand, and a championship-winning debut.
Congratulations to Josh Spinks, Triumph West London, and the entire team behind the TF 450-RC — a landmark first season that sets the tone for what’s to come!
