The latest masterpiece from the Stockwell Design collection has officially rolled out of the Triumph London workshop, and it's ready to rewrite the rules of adventure. Say hello to the Baja Dark Scrambler 1200 X.

Built from the formidable foundation of Triumph's Scrambler 1200 X, this latest creation fuses a rugged desert racer aesthetic with a moody, sophisticated dark-side attitude. The result is a machine that feels equally at home carving through remote landscapes as it does parked outside a city café. This isn't just a motorcycle. It's a statement of intent for the modern explorer.

To match the bike's aggressive new appearance, the soundtrack needed equal attention.

A custom Hitchcox Motorcycles Drag Pipe system in raw brushed stainless steel transforms both the look and character of the 1200cc parallel twin. Beyond unlocking additional performance, the system delivers a deeper, throatier growl that announces itself the moment the throttle is opened. It's purposeful, mechanical, and impossible to ignore.

Every surface of the Baja Dark has been carefully reconsidered.

Factory brightwork has been stripped away in favour of a darker, more refined palette. Hardware throughout the build has been refinished in durable Black and Burnt Bronze Cerakote, creating a finish that feels both rugged and premium. The tank and bodywork continue the theme with a custom combination of Denim Black and Black Charcoal Pearl, giving the bike depth and presence without relying on loud graphics or unnecessary embellishment.
 

An adventure motorcycle is only as good as its connection to the rider.

The saddle has been reshaped to create a more aggressive profile before being upholstered in grippy Keprotec and Black Vinyl, finished with subtle bronze contrast stitching. Beneath the bike, a set of Metzeler Karoo 4 tyres replaces the standard rubber, providing the ideal balance between road manners and off-road capability. Whether tackling the daily commute or disappearing down a gravel track, the Baja Dark is ready for both.

A motorcycle built for exploration needs components capable of backing up its ambitions.

To improve stopping performance, the Baja Dark receives Galfer Wavey brake discs front and rear, delivering sharper control across loose surfaces and tarmac alike. Practicality has also been elevated through the addition of SW-Motech's Legend detachable saddlebag system, combining canvas and leather construction with a clean, integrated appearance. The result is usable luggage capacity without compromising the bike's stripped-back silhouette.

With its raw stainless-steel bark, blacked-out stance, and carefully considered upgrades, the Baja Dark Scrambler 1200X delivers presence, capability, and character in equal measure.
