Bradley Smith Takes a Historic Home Victory

Saturday's Race 1 belonged to local hero Bradley Smith, who thrilled more than 105,000 spectators at the British Grand Prix.

Racing as a wildcard on home turf, Smith held off intense pressure to secure victory on his series debut. The win also marked a significant career milestone, making Smith the only rider in history to claim podium finishes across five distinct MotoGP-affiliated categories: Moto3, Moto2, MotoGP, MotoE and the Bagger World Cup. A home rider. A home crowd. And a Bagger World Cup debut to remember.

His victory led a historic podium lockout for Joe Rascal Racing, with teammates Eric Granado and Jordi Torres crossing the line in second and third respectively.

"The racing was incredibly close, and the level across the grid continues to rise. To see Bradley Smith take a home victory and Archie McDonald set record-setting lap times demonstrates how far these machines and riders have come in our inaugural season." - Jeffrey Schuessler, Director of Global Racing Programs at Harley-Davidson
