When two creative forces come together with a shared vision for performance and style, the result is something truly special. The Triumph Bobber RR is one of the first custom machines born from the partnership between LIND and Stockwell Design back in 2023, and it perfectly captures the essence of both brands: a union of British engineering and bespoke craftsmanship.

At its core, the Bobber RR takes Triumph’s unmistakable silhouette and reimagines it through a performance-driven lens. This isn’t a track bike, yet every inch of it hints at racing DNA. The build features a range of components that merge cutting-edge technology with artisanal attention to detail, setting a new standard for what a modern custom Bobber can be.

Performance Meets Precision

The Bobber RR benefits from a series of upgrades that transform both its ride and its presence. Öhlins front forks and a custom-made rear Öhlins damper give the machine a planted, confident feel, offering the kind of feedback and precision typically reserved for high-performance race bikes.

Thanks to Stockwell’s direct connection with Öhlins Racing AB, these components aren’t off-the-shelf parts; they’re exclusive, tailor-made pieces developed through collaboration and trust. It’s a detail that reflects the build’s ethos: nothing is added unless it serves both purpose and performance.

The braking system has also been given a significant upgrade, with a pair of radial callipers from British manufacturer HEL Performance. In recent years, HEL has become a trusted supplier for race teams not only in the UK but also across Europe and the USA, making them a fitting choice for a machine that embodies both style and substance.

Sound, Form, and Function

For decades, the exhaust has been one of the first components modified by riders, whether to refine the sound, sharpen the look, or both. In the case of the Bobber RR, the goal was to achieve both while preserving the flowing lines of the original Triumph headers.

To accomplish this, S&S Cycles USA, one of Stockwell’s long-standing partners, was brought into the fold. Their Grand National Slip-Ons were carefully modified to fit the original Bobber headers, maintaining the visual harmony of the bike while giving it a deeper, more assertive tone.

At the time, S&S didn’t produce any components for the Triumph range. But that collaboration sparked something larger, leading to the development of the S&S Grand National Slip-On, now available for all Triumph 400 models. Born from the joint efforts between Stockwell and the S&S team in the US, it stands as a testament to how innovation can emerge from custom creativity.

Design That Speaks Without Shouting

Visually, the Bobber RR retains much of the original Triumph’s elegance. The bodywork received only subtle modification, most notably the rear fender, which was trimmed back to create a cleaner, sportier line. A set of ‘racing’ number boards were added to emphasise the bike’s track-inspired character without overwhelming its minimalist design.

To complete the transformation, Image Design Custom, who have painted Stockwell Design bikes for the past 17 years, applied a bespoke finish. The combination of Vivid Black and Graphite, accented with subtle Stratos Gold detailing, gives the Bobber RR a timeless yet contemporary aesthetic. It’s bold enough to turn heads, but refined enough to respect the machine’s heritage.

A Sportier Stance

Beneath the sculpted frame sit 17-inch aluminium rims wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres, a setup that not only enhances the bike’s handling but also adds a sharper, more aggressive stance.

To complement the upgraded suspension and achieve the desired riding position, a pair of Triumph TFC Thruxton yokes were modified to allow for the Street Tracker handlebars, giving the rider a more upright, aggressive stance while maintaining precise handling and control.

The result is a motorcycle that feels alive; agile, responsive, and unmistakably Triumph, but with an attitude that’s all its own.

A Partnership Forged in Passion

The LIND x Stockwell Design collaboration is about more than custom motorcycles; it’s about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible when design and engineering speak the same language. With Stockwell’s heritage rooted in performance and craftsmanship, and LIND’s reputation for excellence within the Triumph community, the Bobber RR represents a shared vision — one that celebrates individuality without compromising capability.

Every line, every component, and every decision in the build tells the story of a machine created not just to be ridden, but to be experienced.

The Triumph Bobber RR isn’t merely a showcase of design; it’s a statement of intent.
