The latest creation to roll out of the Stockwell Design workshop at Triumph West London is a motorcycle that blurs the line between rugged adventure machine and handcrafted luxury. Meet Overland Roger, a bespoke Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE that combines genuine off-road capability with the understated sophistication of high-end automotive design.
Inspired by the meticulous craftsmanship of Singer Vehicle Design, the Overland Roger Scrambler reimagines what an adventure motorcycle can be. Every detail has been carefully considered, creating a Scrambler that's equally at home parked outside a city café as it is carving its way through gravel tracks and winding country lanes.
The Vision: Singer Sophistication Meets Adventure Purpose
Rather than chasing excess, the Overland Roger Scrambler embraces restraint. Its inspiration comes from the philosophy behind Singer's celebrated Porsche restorations, where timeless design, premium materials and obsessive attention to detail elevate an already iconic machine.
The result is a custom Triumph Scrambler that retains all of the capability of the already brilliant 1200 XE while introducing a level of refinement rarely seen in the adventure motorcycle world.
Crafted to Stand Out
The centrepiece of the build is the bespoke fuel tank, finished in an elegant combination of Crystal White, Burnt Chestnut and delicate Gold detailing. The lighter paintwork contrasts beautifully against the bike's blacked-out components, giving this Scrambler a purposeful yet sophisticated presence.
Continuing the premium aesthetic is a handcrafted Umber Brown leather saddle, finished with subtle gold stitching that echoes the paintwork and adds another layer of bespoke craftsmanship.
To complete the look, the swingarm and brightwork have been blacked out, replacing the factory chrome with a cleaner, more contemporary finish that grounds the entire motorcycle.
Built for Adventure
While the finish is refined, the Overland Roger never loses sight of its purpose. Aggressive Continental TKC80 tyres provide genuine off-road confidence, while a high-level front mudguard, Tamarit headlamp guard and PIAA asymmetric fog lamp reinforce its adventure-ready character.
The offset auxiliary light gives the motorcycle a distinctive front profile, while practical upgrades including heated grips, Motogadget Mo.Blaze indicators, Evotech tail tidy, bar-end mirrors and a rear indicator relocation kit ensure the bike is as functional as it is striking.
The Soundtrack
No Scrambler is complete without a soundtrack to match its character. Replacing the standard exhaust system is a pair of custom stainless steel drag pipes, giving Triumph's parallel twin a deeper, richer tone that perfectly complements the bike's rugged personality.
Paired with the bike's blacked-out detailing and adventure stance, the result is a machine that sounds every bit as purposeful as it looks.
