On the 10th of January, Plan B returned to The Bike Shed Shoreditch for our annual party, and what a night it was. We were absolutely delighted to be joined by 92 of our fantastic members, along with their friends and family, for an evening filled with great food, live music, laughter, and that unmistakable biker camaraderie.
Adding to the atmosphere was the incredible band Firebrand, who delivered an unforgettable live performance and kept the energy high all night. It was the perfect setting to celebrate everything Plan B stands for: community, passion for motorcycles, and shared adventure.
But the night wasn’t just about celebration. For the second year running, we held a raffle in support of local racer Harrison Dessoy, who is competing in the World Sport Bike Cup as part of the 2026 World Superbike Series on his HID PHR Triumph Daytona 660. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised over £900 to help Harrison with the costs of competing at this elite level. It’s moments like these that show the true heart of Plan B: riders supporting riders.
The group was formed during COVID by myself and three close friends. Like everyone else, every road trip and adventure we planned was postponed. Eventually, one cancelled trip became “Plan B”, a scaled-down version of our original idea, made possible during a brief break in lockdown. That single ride sparked something special.
What started as a small group of friends has now grown into a thriving community of over 250 riders.
Today, Plan B hosts multiple events throughout the year, designed to cater for all disciplines of motorcycling and every level of ability. Whether you’re a seasoned rider, newly qualified, into touring, track days, or just enjoy a social ride and a coffee stop, there’s a place for you here. Our events aren’t just about riding either. We actively welcome family and friends to join us at social gatherings, because Plan B is about people as much as bikes.
From ride outs and adventures to evenings like our annual party, Plan B offers something more than a calendar of events. It offers belonging. It’s about meeting like-minded people, sharing stories at the roadside, supporting each other’s goals, and creating memories that last far longer than the miles.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a group that values adventure, inclusivity, and genuine connection, Plan B might just be what you’ve been looking for. One ride, one event, one conversation is often all it takes to realise this isn’t just a group, it’s a community.
And trust us, this one is only getting bigger.
