The custom Cotswolds TFC Bobber, built by Stockwell Design at Triumph North London, begins with one of Triumph’s most performance-focused platforms, pivoting it somewhere unexpected: the Triumph Bobber TFC.

Where the standard TFC leans into carbon fibre sheen and pit-lane precision, the Cotswolds edition shifts the tone entirely. This is a countryside-bred reinterpretation, and a machine shaped by the restrained strength and quiet honesty of rural Britain. It doesn’t shout. It endures.

The influence isn’t literal, but philosophical. Think classic Land Rover Defender. Not because it looks like one, but because it carries the same sense of purpose.

Earth-tone finishes replace gloss and flash. Muted greens, sanded neutrals, graphite greys. Military and agricultural cues appear not as decoration, but as design intent. Nothing delicate or superfluous.

Surface treatments are textured and protective. Hardware feels exposed and honest. Finishes prioritise longevity over showroom shine. The aesthetic is utilitarian, but never crude. It's agricultural in spirit, but premium in execution, with a shift in posture.

The Cotswolds TFC Bobber retains the performance pedigree of the Factory Custom platform, with lightweight components, high-spec suspension, and serious braking, while reframing them entirely.

Carbon fibre becomes structural rather than decorative. Metal finishes feel bead-blasted and unpolished. Leather looks worn-in from day one, not glossed for display.

A 16-inch front wheel wrapped in Baja rugged tyres front and rear shifts the stance and intent. Denali fog lights add practical presence. Dresser bars and forward foot controls alter the riding position, giving the bike a more commanding feel.

LED front indicators remain discreet, while multi-function rear lighting is tucked cleanly beneath the seat. A custom license plate mount keeps the rear tight, and bar-end mirrors finish the cockpit with quiet precision.

The custom Cotswolds TFC Bobber is a machine that feels as comfortable outside a converted Cotswold stone barn as it would carving through open B-roads. Engineered, understated, and confidently out of step with expectation.

Custom Shop Update: What’s On the BenchES?

Both the Banshee T120 and Happy Days Speedmaster are currently on the bench for final finishing, courtesy of Triumph London. These builds are entering their last stages before reveal, but they won’t stay under wraps for much longer.

Just landed in the workshop is something entirely different: a Scrambler 400 XC build taking cues from the ’80s icon, the Opel Manta.

Expect bold retro graphics, sharp contrast detailing, analogue attitude, and a rally-inspired character distilled into a lightweight modern platform. It’s a nod to the golden era, reimagined for today’s streets.

Alongside it, a Speed Twin 900 is beginning to take shape. Sleek but rugged. Moody. Urban. Understated, but purposeful. Dark finishes and refined detailing sharpen the silhouette without losing the Speed Twin’s modern-classic DNA.

And early design work has just begun on a Speed Twin 1200 RS that will draw strong visual cues from Triumph motorcycles of the 1960s. Expect timeless proportions, heritage detailing, and subtle references to the era that defined the brand, distilled into a contemporary custom.

Three very different inspirations, with one unmistakable Custom Shop signature.

It’s shaping up to be a big few weeks from the custom shop.
