Triumph Motorcycles unveils an evolution of its iconic Bonneville line-up for 2026, with significant upgrades to three of its most aspirational models: the Scrambler 900, Bonneville Bobber, and Bonneville Speedmaster, setting a new benchmark for modern classics.
Delivering enhanced performance, greater comfort and new rider-focused technology, these key updates elevate the rider experience, while preserving the distinctive character and heritage that define the Bonneville name. Blending timeless appeal and modern innovation, targeted enhancements also extend to the Bonneville T100, T120, T120 Black, and Scrambler 1200 XE.
Standout updates to the Scrambler 900 include a more refined chassis, upgraded Showa suspension and radial brakes for improved capability both on and off the road. Lightweight aluminium wheel rims further enhance the Scrambler’s handling responses, alongside the introduction of lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control. A new modern instrument cluster, full LED lighting, and improved connectivity meet the needs of modern riders, while preserving the Scrambler’s authentic identity.
The Bonneville Bobber and Speedmaster both gain a larger 14 litre fuel tank and updated bodywork, giving both models a more muscular silhouette and an even greater presence. The Bobber now has a wider and more generously padded floating seat for improved comfort, while the Speedmaster gains wider seats for both rider and pillion, and straighter handlebars for a more natural riding position, perfect for exploiting the improved fuel range from the larger tank. Meeting the needs of the modern rider, cruise control has been integrated as standard and new lightweight aluminium rims add even greater agility, ensuring easy, effortless handling.
For the first time, an A2 licence restrictor kit will be available as an accessory for the Bobber and Speedmaster, improving accessibility for new riders in Europe. The aspirational T120 and T120 Black also benefit from this new technology, so alongside the existing option for T100 and Scrambler 900, new riders now have even more choice
Carefully engineered new rider-focused technology has now been discreetly added to all Bonnevilles, meticulously integrated within each model’s minimalist design. Lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control, powered by a high-performance IMU, works seamlessly in the background, intelligently calibrated to intervene only when needed, allowing riders to stay fully immersed in the ride without distraction. Cruise control, USB-C charging, and full LED lighting with signature DRLs further elevate the riding experience across the Bonneville range, meeting the expectations of today’s riders.
While care has been taken to ensure the modern classic aesthetic and distinctive Bonneville silhouette are preserved, subtle styling updates to each model ensure the gradual evolution of the Bonneville design, keeping it relevant, contemporary and at the forefront of modern classic style. The T100, T120, and T120 Black turn heads with new hand-finished paint schemes and coachline detailing, and a new circular graphic on the side panels, which frames the Bonneville logo in silver or gold, celebrating the name that started it all.
Speaking about the range, Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer at Triumph Motorcycles, said:
“This is the authentic modern classic, and the Bonneville range continues to evolve because our riders expect it to. They want timeless style, but they also want technology that works for them, performance they can rely on, and details that feel considered. Across the range, we’ve refined what matters and kept what makes these bikes special.”
“For 2026, every Bonneville model has been carefully updated to offer more capability, comfort, and style, without losing or compromising the character that defines them. Every detail has been obsessively refined to make the design look effortless. That’s the principle that has guided the team at Triumph throughout the generations and is the reason that Triumph builds motorcycles that riders not only trust, but aspire to own. The Bonneville range continues to set the standard for modern classics."
With a class-leading 10,000-mile (16,000 km) service interval, the Bonnevilles are built for more time on the road and less time in the workshop, giving riders the freedom to enjoy every mile.
