OUR 2021 HIGHLIGHTS.
Can you believe that 2021 is coming to an end already? With fantastic new models launched, increased personalisation options and a whole host of events we really managed to make the most of the year! Some of our favourite highlights include a revolutionary new Adventure Touring model from Harley-Davidson®, the Pan America 1250 and also finally launching our newest destination, Watford Harley-Davidson. With so much to celebrate this year, we wanted to pick out just a few highlights for you below.
JANUARY
THE REVOLUTION IS COMING. Triumph announced an all-new Speed Triple 1200 RS. Delivering an absolute revolution in terms of speed, power, performance and handling, the new Speed Triple 1200 RS has raised the bar for its segment.
FEBRUARY
The Pan America has landed. Revealed to the world on the 22nd January, Harley-Davidson® entered the Adventure Touring category for the first time with the Pan America 1250. Now in-stores, the Pan America has been a massive sucess and is a great addition to their already fantastic offering.
MARCH
It seems that Q1 was the time to launch new models! BMW join Harley-Davidson® and Triumph in launching new bikes. Introducing to you the new BMW C 400 X and C 400 GT. Providing a new Technology update for the two models and even more efficient engines, the new models are a perfect compliment to an already extensive line-up.
APRIL
ICONIC RIDES FOR MODERN TIMES. Announced by Harley-Davidson®, a new range of models inspiried by our historic roots. The first in the line up is the 2021 Electra Glide Revival. Limited to 1500 models world-wide, this model, presented in a Tri-Tone paint was a rare opportunity to become a part of history. Selling almost immediately after launch, it sets a great tone for the next models in the Iconic range to come.
MAY
BIKE NIGHTS ARE BACK. Following a lift in restrictions earlier in the year, and as the nights are oficially light again, Reading Harley-Davidson® kick off their infamous bike nights. With Bottle Kids on the beat and a massive turn out, it was great to welcome the world back into our small but friendly dealership.
Setting a great tone for the months ahead, Bike Nights are at the heart of our community.
JUNE
A new collaboration between Triumph and Beeline, the award-winning navigation brand, brings you a dedicated Beeline Navigation system in a unique Triumph-branded package. Designed to maximise your Triumph experience with a minimal and stylish robust design. Launched on our online store, the Beeline was an instant sell-out sucesses! We're stocking now, perfect for your long winter rides.
JULY
THE SPORTSTER IS REBORN. Introducing a revolution of power and performance, the new Sportster S features the all new Revolution Max 1250T engine. To call it the Ultimate Sportster is an understatement. Launched in July our teams got a hands-on experience with the bikes and couldn't have praised the new Sportster more.
AUGUST
Following on from their C 400 sucess earlier on this year, BMW launched new derivatives of the famous R 18 range. Introducing the R 18 Transcontinental and the R 18 B. Luxurious travelling and Bagger meet American highway cruising.
SEPTEMBER
The month for Birthdays and events, September was one of our biggest months yet! Featuring the Watford Harley-Davidson® launch party, Guildford & Newmarket Harley-Davidson® birthday parties and our welcome back parties at our LIND Motorrad locations!
OCTOBER
Something a bit different for our October Highlight. We received our first ever delivery of Serial 1 electric bikes. Serial 1 was inspired by the entrepreneurial vision of Harley-Davidson's founders, and the revolutionary impact of their first motorcycle, affectionately referred to as "Serial Number One". These bikes can be found in our Harley-Davidson stores and we even have demonstrator models for you to try out!
NOVEMBER
In November we saw the very exciting launch of all-new K 1600 Models from BMW Motorrad. Six-cylinder in-line engines have always belonged to the showcase drives at BMW. Since 2010, BMW Motorrad offers fascinating high-performance and luxurious six-cylinder equipment at the highest level with the K 1600 models. The K 1600 GT represents the particularly agile, dynamic variant of the six-cylinder design, while the K 1600 GTL with its more comfortable ergonomics and standard topcase is more for pleasurable riding. DECEMBER
This month has got us feeling very excited for 2022. Just this week we've seen the release of dates for the Harley-Davidson World Premier Event. At the moment all we know is the virtual reveal event will be taking place on 26.01.22 and it's being promoted as 'Futher, Faster.' There's of course lot's of speculation as to what this reveal could be but we've saved the date and we'll be bringing you the latest news as soon as we can!
